H&M Glitterati mascara liner - Starlight

I showed this beautiful glitter eyeliner a month ago on Instagram story and some of you asked where to find it and was it any good. So... this is a product from hell for me. It is actually H&M Glitterati mascara liner in the shade Starlight and this is the first thin I tried from H&M makeup line simply because it is hard to find. That is because the whole range can be found only in H&M in Arena centar in Zagreb (correct me if I'm wrong), and this beauty if the first thing I grabbed.

Instagram story i nekoliko vas me pitalo kako doći do njega te da
svakako javim kakav je. E pa... za mene je ovo proizvod iz pakla. Riječ
je o H&M Glitterati mascara liner-u u nijansi Starlight te je prvo
što sam isprobala od H&M kozmetike jer ju je malo teže pronaći.
Naime, koliko sam upoznata, cijeli asortiman se može pronaći samo u
H&M u Areni (ako sam u krivu - ispravite me), a ovaj ljepotan je
prvo što me privuklo.

This isn't just eyeliner, but also doubles as mascara - it has a brush tip and the part that can be used to apply on the lashes, but this part is so tiny and not very useful. It just soaks the lashes and they all stick together, so I think it would be better to use the brush tip and apply it on each lash, one at the time.

Ipak, ovo nije
samo eyeliner, već i maskara - ima i kistić za liner i dio s kojim ga
možeš nanijeti na trepavice, iako je taj dio toliko sitan da ustvari
samo natopi trepavice i slijepi, pa mislim da je bolje da ga naneseš na
svaku trepavicu posebno kistićem.

It has a gel - like texture and it takes some time to be completely dry, so it can transfer if you blink while it is still wet. The glitter doesn't fall once it is dry, though.
So lets get on why this is a product from hell for me.
The first time I've tried it, a few seconds after application, it started to tingle and within half a minute it started burning my eyelids. I though the problem was with my eyes and that they were irritated from me rubbing my eyes earlier that day (allergies), so I didn't take if right off. I though it was going to go away in a few moments, but 15 minutes later it didn't stop (tho it did half an hour later; crazy me - I really don't know why I kept it on for that long). Later I went out with it on my eyes and everything was ok.
But then I decided to give it a second chance because it really is beautiful. I thought: maybe it was because of my skin, the weather, alignment of the planets and things like that. Second try - the same thing happened. I couldn't stand it and I took it right of. Luckily there wasn't any damage on my skin or eyes.
So let's conclude: if you are willing to go through that half an hour of hell, be my guest.
This eyeliner is really special because it is not just simple white or silver eyeliner, it has orange, yellow, green, purple and blue glitter in a clear base.
You know that it is hard to show on the camera the real beauty of any glitter, the colors are more "visible" when they aren't in the focus, so I took photos out of focus too.

Tekstura eyelinera je gelasta i potrebno mu je neko vrijeme da se osuši, pa se do tad može preslikavati. Šljokice ne otpadaju s vremenom.
Da krenemo na objašnjenje zašto je za mene ovo proizvod iz pakla.
Prvi put kad sam ga isprobala, nekoliko sekundi nakon nanošenja, počelo je peckanje koje se za pola minute pretvorilo u užarenu vatru na očima. Mislila sam da je problem u mojim očima i da je koža iziritirana od trljanja (alergije), te ga nisam odmah skinula. Mislila sam da će proći i da je to samo trenutno, ali ni nakon 15-ak minuta nije prestalo (je nakon nekih pola sata i ne znam žašto sam ga uopće držala toliko na očima). Otišla sam van s njim i sve poslije je sve bilo ok.
Ipak, odlučila sam mu dati drugu šansu jer je stvarno divan. Mislila sam: možda je problem u mojoj koži, vremenskoj prognozi, poravnavanju planeta i tako to. Drugi put - ista stvar. Nisam mogla izdržati i skinula sam ga odmah. Sreća pa nije bilo nikakvih posljedica na očima ili koži.
Zaključak je: ako si voljna izdržati tih pola sata s užarenim kapcima, be my guest.
Eyeliner je
poseban po tome što nije obični bijeli ili srebrni liner, već sadrži
narančaste, žute, zelene, ljubičaste i plave šljokice na prozirnoj bazi.
Kako je punu ljepotu šljokica općenito teško uhvatiti na kameri, boje se najbolje "vide" kada nisu direktno u fokusu, pa sam ga tako i slikala.

And also, because the base of the eyeliner (the liquid) is clear, it can be used on colorful bases. Depending on the color of the base, some colors are more or less visible. Let me show you - I used gold, silver, white and black base (either a gel liner or eye pencil).

Također,
upravo zato što je baza eyelinera prozirna (tekućina u kojoj se
šljokice nalaze), može se nanositi preko bazi u boji. Ovisno o boji
baze, različite boje u šljokicama su manje ili više vidljve. Da ti
pokažem - koristila sam zlatnu, srebnu, bijelu i crnu bazu (gel liner
ili olovku za oči).
